Aesthetic and Functional Rehabilitation of the Upper Front Teeth with All-Ceramic Veneers and Minimally Invasive Composite Reconstructions
The patient wished to improve both the aesthetics and functional harmony of her upper front teeth. In particular, she was dissatisfied with the existing veneers on the central incisors, which no longer met her aesthetic expectations. In addition, pronounced functional wear affected the lateral incisors and canines, resulting in a loss of natural tooth anatomy and functional balance.
To ensure precise functional and aesthetic planning, an individual wax-up was created prior to treatment in order to carefully define the future tooth proportions and the overall flow of the smile line.
The definitive rehabilitation was then carried out through the replacement of the veneers on the upper central incisors, combined with minimally invasive composite reconstructions of the lateral incisors and canines.
This individually tailored rehabilitation concept allowed both aesthetics and function to be sustainably restored while re-establishing a harmonious and natural smile line.
Replacement of Existing Veneers and Implant Crowns for the Aesthetic and Functional Rehabilitation of the Upper Front Teeth
The patient sought a comprehensive aesthetic rehabilitation of the upper front teeth with the goal of achieving a natural and harmonious overall appearance. In particular, he was dissatisfied with the previously fabricated restorations of the anterior teeth, which did not meet his expectations in terms of tooth shape, alignment, and overall smile aesthetics. In addition, the patient wished for a brighter and more uniform tooth shade.
To ensure precise aesthetic and functional planning, an individual wax-up was created prior to treatment. This allowed the planned reconstruction of the upper front teeth — including tooth proportions, functional harmony, and the overall smile line — to be visualized before the definitive treatment phase began.
The final rehabilitation was carried out using all-ceramic veneers in combination with two implant-supported all-ceramic crowns in the upper jaw.
Through this individually tailored reconstruction concept, both aesthetics and function of the upper front teeth were sustainably enhanced. Tooth shape and alignment were harmonized, resulting in a balanced, natural-looking smile.
Aesthetic Rehabilitation of the Front Teeth with Professional Whitening, All-Ceramic Veneers, and Minimally Invasive Composite Reconstructions
The patient wished to enhance the aesthetics of her existing anterior restorations. In particular, she was dissatisfied with the tooth shade as well as the shape and length of the existing veneers in the visible smile zone. In addition, the proportions between the central and lateral incisors appeared unbalanced. Pronounced wear of the canine teeth further compromised not only the overall smile aesthetics, but also the functional canine guidance.
As a first step in the aesthetic rehabilitation, a professional in-office bleaching treatment was performed in order to establish the desired bright tooth shade as the foundation for the definitive restorations.
Subsequently, the four upper front teeth were restored with new ultra-thin all-ceramic veneers. The worn canine tips were additionally rebuilt using minimally invasive composite reconstructions to restore both natural tooth aesthetics and functional guidance.
Through this individually tailored rehabilitation concept, tooth colour, tooth proportions, and the overall smile line were harmoniously refined, while both aesthetics and function were sustainably restored.
Aesthetic Replacement of Existing Veneers Following Professional Tooth Whitening
The patient wished to refresh the appearance of her smile with a brighter and more naturally radiant tooth shade. In particular, she was dissatisfied with the greyish appearance of the existing veneers on the central incisors, which diminished the lightness and vitality of the smile.
As a first step in the aesthetic rehabilitation, a customised home-bleaching treatment was carried out using individually fabricated whitening trays produced in our practice. This allowed the desired tooth shade to be achieved in a gentle and controlled manner.
Following the whitening phase, the two upper central incisors were restored with new all-ceramic veneers. Adhesive bonding techniques enabled an especially precise and minimally invasive integration of the ceramic restorations into the natural tooth structure.
Through this individually tailored treatment concept, a harmonious and virtually invisible restoration could be achieved, sustainably enhancing the natural aesthetics and brilliance of the smile.
